Project example: Syringe Smart Connector
Proud to be trusted with working with some of the biggest medical device companies in the world, many of our projects are confidential or under IP restrictions for show case. This Syringe Connectivity Connector is a simplified representation of a typical R&D project where we lead and execute design through out the entire design process.
Definition
We help front end innovation teams with creative facilitation and direction. Giving overview and exploring early design opportunities and how they meet the value proposition.User needs are identified, and usability options analyzed. It all comes down to finding the valuable answers, by asking the right questions - event the stupid ones.
Exploration
We identify what impact form factor and user interface has on experience and manufacturing. This phase is done by sketching, CAD, physical models and digital interface prototypes through out multiple iterations. Definition of how brand identity and differentiation is communicated in the product is established.
User input
Users are contiguously involved in the design process. We help create physical models and digital interfaces for formative studies. We can participate in user testing collecting feedback and evaluation.
Detailing &DFM support
Detailing knits usability, innovation, form factor, interaction, CMF, identity, differentiation, packaging, graphics, manufacturing, sustainability and business vision into a final design. Supporting internal manufacturing or OEM, we help ensure the product stays true to the original vision. Don't compromise, let it be a guide.
